Detailed information on your holiday in Hotel Verwall

Thanks to the size of our restaurants, the hotel lounge and the sun terrace, we are in a position to offer you plenty of space and opportunities for a relaxing holiday. The required distances can be kept everywhere. Here we'd like to let you know about special measures in the individual areas.

Despite new general conditions, we can promise you one thing: Our hotel will remain your place of strength, where love is in every detail. It will remain your vacation home, where the warm atmosphere will make your arrival even more pleasant. Verwall is the place for your most beautiful vacation by far. 

Free cancellation guarantee up to 1 month before arrival

You can cancel booked holidays for the 2021/22 ski season free of charge up to 1 month before departure. This gives you plenty of time to observe the situation and then decide spontaneously.

Temporary change of the cancellation policy:
Due to the current situation, we have decided to make our cancellation policy even more flexible. For the winter season 2021/2022 a cancellation free of charge is possible up to 1 month before your arrival. In case of closed borders or an existing travel warning for Tyrol during your planned stay, a cancellation free of charge is possible up to one day before your arrival.

IMPORTANT: If travel to Ischgl is not possible due to travel warnings, travel restrictions by the authorities of your home country or a lockdown, or if Ischgl is classified as a risk area by the authorities of your home country, any deposit paid will be credited for a replacement stay. Please understand that we can only accept cancellations in writing. Otherwise, the Austrian hotel contract conditions apply.

Cancellation policy winter season 2021/22

  • up to 1 month: free of charge
  • from 1 month to 2 weeks before arrival: 70% of the booking amount
  • from 2 weeks before arrival: 90% of the booking amount
In addition, we offer you the possibility of a free rebooking up to 2 weeks before arrival if one of the following reasons applies:
  • If skiing in Ischgl is not possible due to the pandemic, any deposit paid will be credited for a replacement stay.
  • If travel to Ischgl is not possible due to travel warnings, travel restrictions by the authorities of your home country or a lockdown, or if Ischgl is classified as a risk area by the authorities of your home country, a deposit paid will be credited for a replacement stay.

Cancellations are only valid in writing. In case of early departure or late arrival, the full room rate according to the booking will be charged. Should less than the booked number of people arrive, the full room rate according to the booking will be charged.

Apart from the above guidelines, the General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry (AGBH) apply.

We know from experience that despite all the joy of a booked holiday, something can always come up at short notice. To avoid costs and hassle, we recommend that you take out cancellation insurance: We recommend Hotelstorno Plus or the comprehensive Hotelstorno Premium insurance (incl. accident benefits) as a precautionary measure for cancellation, early departure and mountain rescue (incl. helicopter rescue).

NEW: Despite pandemic status, Europäische Reiseversicherung offers insurance cover for illnesses caused by COVID-19 from 29.05.2020! Details about this concession can be found here.

The provisions of the Austrian Hotel Contract (Österreichische Hotelvertragsbedingungen - ÖHVB) apply. Subject to change without notice! With the publication of the new price list, all previous ones lose their validity. Price changes, misprints and errors as well as changes in offers reserved.
New COVID Ordinance and Entry Ordinance

The ordinance on the federal government's Covid measures, valid from 01 July, is now available.
A clear summary of the main changes can be found on the website of the Ministry of Health. In addition, the new entry regulation can be found here. A brief overview and summary can be found in the next points.

3G rule:
IMPORTANT: The proof of a low epidemiological risk (3G rule) remains, as in the old regulation, i.e. also the testing obligation as before. As a general rule, only those persons who have not already been vaccinated or recovered (according to the criteria described) require testing.

  • First vaccination from the 22nd day (not older than 90 days).
  • First vaccination with vaccines, where only 1 vaccination is pre-screened, from the 22nd day (not older than 270 days)
  • Second vaccination (not older than 270 days)
  • Vaccination, if positive for Corona was tested at least 21 days before or antibody detection was present before vaccination (not older than 270 days).

  • Medical confirmation of an infection survived in the last six months (not older than 180 days).
  • Official notification of segregation to a person who is proven to be infected with egg (not older than 180 days)
  • Proof of antibodies (not older than 90 days)

  • Antigen test for self-administration (self-test) recorded in an official data processing system - valid for max. 24 hours
  • Antigen test for self-administration (self-test) under the supervision of an authorised body (accommodation facility with 30 beds or more) - valid for max. 48 hours
  • Antigen test at a test street (next one in Zams) - valid for max. 48 hours
  • Antigen test at an authorised centre (doctor, pharmacy, etc.) - valid for max. 48 hours - this is NOT free of charge for foreign guests!
  • PCR test at an authorised place (doctor etc.) - valid for max. 72 h - this is NOT free of charge for foreign guests!!!

3G rule:
  • 3G rule applies in the following areas for persons 12 years and older:
    - Gastronomy
    - Hotel and accommodation industry
    - Leisure facilities (e.g. dance schools, zoos)
    - Cultural establishments (except museums, libraries, libraries and archives)
    - sports facilities
    - Meetings (from a number of participants of more than 100 persons)
    - Trade and public fairs, congresses
  • The early curfew is abolished
  • Distance regulations (1-metre minimum distance) will be abolished
  • No square metre restrictions in business premises and establishments

  • Relaxation of the obligation to wear masks
  • As of 1 July, MNS masks must only be worn in closed rooms in public transport/trade/museums.
  • FFP2 mask obligation only in a few exceptions (e.g. for employees in old people's and nursing homes and hospitals in closed rooms, unless there is a current 3-G certificate)

Gastronomy & hotel industry:
  • No longer mandatory for guests to wear masks both indoors and outdoors
  • 3-G certificate required
  • Employees with direct customer contact must always wear an MNS mask in enclosed spaces. This does not apply if the owner, operator or employee as well as the customer can show a 3-G certificate.
  • End of compulsory registration expected from 22.7.

(Night) catering:
  •     From 1 July: with reduced capacity (75% occupancy), no more distance obligation, 3-G proof required.
  •     Expected from 22 July: no capacity restrictions.

  •  Obligation to notify from 100 persons
  • Permit required for 500 persons and more
  • For all events with more than 100 persons additionally: 3-G-proof, prevention concept, COVID-19 representative, contact data collection (exception: closed parties, e.g. wedding)
  • Event regulations are expected to apply until 28.7.
  • We will be happy to welcome you from 14:00 hrs.
  • If you wish, we offer you the possibility to check in from the comfort and ease of your own home.
  • When you arrive, we will greet you warmly, but we will not shake your hand or hug you.
  • Disinfected pens are available at reception.
  • Your keys will be disinfected before you hand them over.
  • Possibility of infrared thermometer measurement.
For check-in, please provide one of the following proofs:
  • Vaccinated: Please show us proof of your vaccination received.
  • Recovered: Please show us an antibody test (neutralisation test) which is not older than 3 months old
  • Tested: Please show us a PCR test (valid 72 hours before arrival), antigen test (valid 48 hours before arrival) or self-test at the reception (valid 24 hours before arrival)

Depending on the duration of your stay, another test may be necessary. You are welcome to have this done directly at the hotel.

  • As convenient and fast as the check-in, we also arrange the check-out: You are welcome to settle your hotel bill the evening before your departure.
  • Possibility of contactless payment
  • The check-out time remains unchanged at 10:00 a.m. - we kindly ask you to adhere to the check-out time as well as the release of the rooms in order to be able to guarantee the cleaning and disinfection intervals for you and our other guests.
  • All rooms are cleaned to the highest level of hygiene according to the Hollu cleaning concept.
  • Our staff has been trained in special hygiene measures.
  • Our housekeeping team thoroughly cleans, airs and disinfects the rooms daily and after each departure.
  • We kindly ask you to respect the check-out time & release of the rooms of 10:00 a.m. to ensure the cleaning & disinfection intervals for you.
  • You will continue to enjoy our delicious pampering half-board! Of course, the high quality of the food will not change. In the kitchen, your dishes will be prepared as usual with the utmost safety and attention to detail. Buffets are also permitted again.
  • All surfaces will of course be thoroughly cleaned and continuously disinfected. This applies to the kitchen as well as to the entire buffet area and the dining room
  • Tables are allocated - each room or reservation has a fixed table in our restaurant area.
  • The menu and wine lists are disinfected after each meal.
  • Salt and pepper shakers and sugar bowls are disinfected and cleaned after each change of guests.
The lounge area around the hotel bar is open - even the seats directly at the bar can be used without restrictions again.
  • All facilities in the Wellness & Spa - with the exception of the steam bath - are open to you without restriction.
  • Enjoy our wellness bar with a variety of teas.
All treatments are offered with appropriate hygiene protection measures. You are welcome to choose from various massage treatments.
 We are happy to carry out a Covid test (48 hours) for you on site.
