White Spring
When the days are getting longer, the temperatures are rising and the sun is shining more often –then the time has come and spring finally arrived! Especially this time in Ischgl is still a real secret tip…
It seems like that at the moment everything and everyone is waking up and reawakening to new life after a long and cold winter. Terraces in front of hotels and bars get furnished, people meet on the streets or in cafés again, they wind down, charge their batteries in the sun, enjoy the new season and are simply HAPPY.
And also skiing in Ischgl has a special flair during spring… The typical „spring-feeling“ arises and spreads even at 2.800 metres. Fresh powder snow from the last days has ensured once more perfect snow conditions for you for the next weeks (even though this is nearly always the case in Ischgl)…
The sun in spring will contribute to the well-being of the skiers – who can, despite a lot of snow and fresh alpine air, enjoy the skiing days without freezing. Even relaxing in a deck chair and enjoying one or two glasses in the sun is possible – (but please take your sun protection with you, the sun is very intensive at over 2.000 metres J)
Finally, do you want a special secret tip for skiing days in spring? Make a stop at the Vider Alp (lies a little bit hidden below the Alpenhaus) – at this place the sun is shining even longer and the deck chairs are the most comfortable ones J It can also be the case that you meet our parents there relaxing in one of them…
Back home at Verwall (comfortable accessible with the ski slope that ends only a few metres behind our hotel) our own sun-terrace is waiting for you and invites you to catch up the last sunrays – whether with a refreshing Lillet Wild Berry or a warming hot chocolate with fresh milk straight from the farmer – the spectacular sunset with a view to the unique mountain panorama is anyway a special moment!
